So about a month
ago, right as uni started and all of a sudden I had to abandon blogging for far
more boring and less interesting things like essays, Priceline had a 40% off
skincare sale. 40% off guys, that’s practically free. Admittedly I haven’t had a chance to use all
of these products yet as they lay in wait in their pink bags waiting to be
photographed but I thought it would be worth showing you what I got.
What I went in to get:
Hydraluron: I have heard so many amazing things about
this product and wanted to see what the hype was about. Perfect sale
opportunity!
La Roche Posay
Effaclar Duo: another
massively hyped up product that I didn’t want to spend big bucks on since I’ve
never tried it. Got the last one in store!
Nivea In Shower
Body Moisturiser: I had seen this product raved about on the UK beauty
blogs I follow and was excited to see them come to Australia so quickly (not a
lifetime later like everything else). I got the one for normal skin and dry
skin to see which one suited me better. My boyfriend’s skin is drier than mine
so I thought we’d get use out of both.
Then things got a
bit out of hand.
When I lost control:
For the
aforementioned boyfriend I grabbed the Cetaphil Moisturising Cream for dry,
sensitive skin and the St Ives Green Tea Scrub.
The 40% off went
to my head and I ended having a very heavy basket by the time I was done. I
grabbed the St Ives Apricot Scrub that I’ve wanted to try for a little
while. Then the Simple Brightening Eye Cream, honestly I don’t know why
I bought this, but I don’t have a relationship with another eye cream so this
one will do fine. I went for the Sukin Facial Moisturiser because I
wanted one without SPF and I love the ethos of that brand. A couple of blogger inspired purchases at the
end were the Palmer’s Moisturizing Body Oil I spotted on More ThanAdored and the Garnier Ultra Softening Lotion for dry skin Kate from gh0stparties
raved about.
I left Priceline
with a heavy bag and a light purse but I’ve enjoyed having more skincare
products to try out this month!
Have you tried any
of these products?
Has a sale made you lose control?
