Spotlight on… Soap & Glory

When I first heard of Soap & Glory it was through a few UK beauty bloggers that I follow. I assumed that since Soap & Glory’s products looked amazing and I really really wanted to try them they would be impossible to find in Australia like so many other international brands I haven’t been able to get my hands on. Luckily I was very wrong! Although there isn’t as much of their makeup range available in Australia we have their skin care and a few makeup bits and pieces. Thanks to some Christmas presents and some purchases of my own I have ended up with quite the little Soap & Glory collection. For me this is pretty unusual, because I am rarely loyal to a brand for skincare so I think the lovely packaging and clever product names are doing their job and drawing me in! I thought I would do a little round up of what I have and my thoughts.

Foam Call Body Wash

 As nice as a body wash can be. It has the same Soap & Glory Smell as the body polish and is moisturizing and creamy.

Heel Genius Foot Cream

Now that winter has truly set in here I just know this one will be getting more use! The thing that usually gets me about foot creams is that horrible minty-footy smell they have. Maybe that’s just me, but I love the scent of this on and it sinks in really quick so I’m not out of action for too long.

Pulp Friction Body Scrub

This is more of a daily scrub. The particles are the perfect size to exfoliate the body but not at all abrasive and it leaves enough oil behind to moisturize the skin. Great to use before you shave your legs to get rid of scaly winter skin  -glamorous-

Butter Yourself Body Cream and The Righteous Butter Body Moisturizer

 I put these two together because I am not a huge fan of body moisturisers and I use them interchangeably.  When I remember I like to use them both and since the tubs are so big they will last me forever. The scent of both is lovely and stays with you for a little while but if I had to choose I prefer the slightly more flowery smell of The Righteous Butter.

Flake Away Body Polish

This is a really nice and dense body scrub. For a sugar scrub it isn’t sweet smelling at all but has a refreshing orange and fig smell. The particles are a perfect size to use a few times a week but not an everyday scrub.

Hand Food Hand Cream

I love little fun sized products like this one! As a permanent resident of my bag I get a lot of use out of this hand cream. Nice scent and quick to sink in. What more can you ask for?

Sexy MotherPucker Lipgloss

Before this one I had never tried a lip pumping gloss and the tingles took me by surprise! I am not a huge lipgloss lover but this one is a bit sticky for my liking.

Soap & Glory is an affordable brand with a wide range of quality products. My collection will be expanding soon!
